As a TUJ student, you are eligible to apply to study at Temple University Rome New Tab in Rome, Italy.

Set in the heart of Italy, studying at Temple Rome allows students the opportunity to earn Temple credit while experiencing everything that Italy has to offer.

Program Overview

TUJ students can apply to study at Temple Rome for the summer, semester, or academic year. While Temple Rome is best suited for the arts, there are courses in a wide range of disciplines.

Eligibility Requirements

Fully matriculated and have studied for at least two semesters at TUJ

• Bridge program and non-matriculated students are not eligible to participate.
• You must have completed at least two (2) semesters of college-level study by the start of the program.

Are in good academic standing, clear of any holds, and meet the minimum GPA requirement for the program

• You must have a cumulative and current GPA of 2.75 (for the semester/academic year program) or 2.5 (for the summer program) at the time of application.
• You must be in good academic standing at the university, including the semester before participating in the program until the start of your term abroad.
  • Academic Warning, Academic Probation, and Visa Probation students are not eligible to apply.
• You must be clear of any holds at TUJ (including financial, visa, or any other holds)

Program Costs and Scholarships

Participants will pay per-credit Temple University tuition (in dollars) directly to the Main Campus in Philadelphia. In addition, all students will pay the University Services fee and an additional Temple Rome fee.

TUJ students will be unable to apply Continuing Student Scholarships toward their Temple Rome tuition. However, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for Temple University's study abroad scholarships, specifically the Rome Semester Scholarship and the Temple Summer Program Scholarship. There are additional scholarship New Tab opportunities available through Temple University’s Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses.
