Program Overview

Academic Program

Students will be required to take a full-time course load (at least 12 Temple credits) while abroad and will earn transfer credit for all courses taken. The language of instruction will be in English. 

JGU has twelve schools of study, which focus on Law, Business & Management, International Affairs, Public Policy, Liberal Arts & Humanities, Journalism, Art & Architecture, Banking & Finance, Environment & Sustainability, Psychology & Counselling, Languages & Literature and Public Health & Human Development.

JGU’s 80-acre campus is located in Haryana, India, just 20 miles from New Delhi, the capital. If you’re craving a trip into Delhi, JGU offers convenient transportation services to and from the city.

Students may choose to live in university-arranged housing or find independent housing. JGU's residence halls are separated by gender and each student is equipped with the following:

Scholarships

Students may apply any TUJ scholarships, including the TUJ Continuing Student Scholarship your tuition while abroad.

Eligibility Requirements

This exchange is open to all TUJ students as long as they meet the following eligibility requirements:

Fully matriculated, are enrolled fulltime, and will have completed two semesters before studying abroad
  • Bridge program and non-matriculated students are not eligible to participate in this exchange program. 
  • You must be enrolled as a full-time matriculated student at the time of application, as well as during the semester prior to studying abroad.
  • You must have completed at least two (2) semesters of college-level study by the start of the program.
     
Are in good academic standing, clear of any holds, and meet the minimum GPA requirement for the program
  • You must have a cumulative and current GPA of 2.75 at the time of application.
  • You must be in good academic standing at the university, including the semester before participating in the program until the start of your term abroad.
    • Academic Warning, Academic Probation, and Visa Probation students are not eligible to apply.
  • You must be clear of any holds at TUJ (including financial, visa, or any other holds)
Clear of any conduct or disciplinary issues at TUJ

You must be clear of any conduct or disciplinary issues at the time of application and remain so through the start of your term at O.P. Jindal Global University.

Have a valid passport

You must have or obtain a passport (valid well beyond the length of the program) by the application deadline.

Meet the minimum age requirement

You must be at least 18 years or older at the time of application.

Admissions Timeline  

  • Admissions applications are not rolling; all applications are reviewed once the application deadline has passed.
  • Once you submit your application, you should expect a decision about one month after the application deadline has passed.

For O.P. Jindal Global University, the following additional considerations apply:

  • Students will be selected mainly based on academic fit and demonstrated interest in the host university and/or location.
  • If you are a citizen of India, you will not be eligible to participate on this exchange.
