Meeting with an Academic Advisor

Academic Advising Appointments

Students can schedule a 1:1 appointment with their advisor using the AAC’s appointment scheduling system.

  • Make sure to book with your assigned advisor or the booking will be cancelled.
  • There are a limited number of advising slots available.  As advising is for ALL undergraduate students at TUJ, we kindly ask that you refrain from making multiple appointments at the same time.  Should we find multiple appointments scheduled, your scheduled appointments may be discarded.
  • Due to high demand for advising appointments, it is critical for students to arrive on time. Please be aware that students who are more than 10 minutes late to their appointment will have to reschedule due to time constraints.

AAC Drop-In Advising on Zoom

The AAC also offers Drop-In Advising via Zoom twice a week. Drop-In Advising is typically designed for inquiries that will take no more than 5-10 minutes. It is also a good alternative when appointments with an advisor are not available. For more complicated questions (i.e. checking remaining requirements), please use the appointment booking system to make an appointment with an advisor.

  1. You must be signed into your TUJ Zoom account to join Drop-In Advising.
  2. This service is for current TUJ undergraduate students.

AAC Peer Mentors

The Academic Advising Center also employs Peer Mentors, TUJ students who can provide support for students with questions related to academic planning, course registration, and their majors/minors/certificates. For details and booking information, visit the AAC Peer Mentorship website.
