2. Official English Score Report

All non-native speakers of English must submit an official TOEFL, IELTS or DUOLINGO score. Applicants who earned a university degree in an English-speaking country or from an institution in which English is the medium of instruction may petition to have the language proficiency test requirement waived. Please see the Application Procedure page for further information.

TOEFL:

Order an official score report using the code for Temple University, Japan Campus (9698). For more information on the TOEFL examination, please visit www.ets.org/toefl/ .

IELTS:

Request that an official report be sent directly to Temple University, Japan Campus. For more information on IELTS, please visit www.ielts.org .

DUOLINGO: 

Request that an official report be sent directly to Temple University, Japan Campus. For more information on DUOLINGO, please visit https://englishtest.duolingo.com/ .

3. Transcripts and Degree Verification

Official transcripts from all third-level institutions attended must be submitted directly to Temple University, Japan Campus, by the issuing institutions in envelopes sealed by the institutions.

If any transcript merely lists the courses that you have completed, but does not show that the institution actually conferred your degree, then you must additionally ask the institution to submit a certificate of degree completion. The transcript alone will not suffice.

A certified English language translation must also accompany transcripts that are not issued in English. We do not accept transcripts that the applicant has handled or opened. Applicants may also submit overseas transcripts through an academic credentials evaluation service, such as World Evaluation Service (WES)  or Law School Admission Council (LSAC) .
