RENEW ITEMS

For current students, faculty, and staff, the easiest way to renew materials is to log via “My Library Account ” via the TUJ library web site, or “Sign In” if you're in the Library Catalog .  Once in your account, you can view the items you currently have checked out and renew them online (if an item is eligible for renewal). See step-by-step instructions .

Alternatively, you can email the library at at any time, or stop by in person or call (03-5441-9867) during open hours .

Online renewals are not available for alumni, continuing education, and guest patrons. Please email, visit in person, or call the library to renew items.

REQUEST ITEM FOR PICKUP
  • TUJ students, faculty and staff can place hold requests directly through the library catalog for items they wish to pick up from the library service desk.  See detailed instructions on how to place a hold/request item for pickup .
  • For items that are not currently checked out, it generally takes one to two days for the request to be processed.
  • Once the item is ready, you will receive an email notification. Pick your item up within seven days.
  • If an item is currently checked out and you place an online request, you will be notified once the item has been returned to the library.  In some cases, the due date may still be far in the future and you might be waiting for quite some time.
  • To pick up an item after you've been notified, bring your TU ID card to the library service desk and let the staff person know that you'd like to pick up something that is on hold.
  • Note that requesting partial digitization of physical books or journals is only available for TUJ faculty.

For alumni, continuing education, and guest patrons registered with the library, please email the library at at any time, or stop by in person or call (03-5441-9867) during open hours .
