Course List

We offer courses specialized in the academic English skills throughout the year that are necessary at universities and graduate schools. We also offer internships and courses for English teachers. Short-term courses in which students can experience American-style student-centered classes are also offered for elementary school students to university students of various English levels.

Semester-long / Short-term Courses

Semester-long courses are offered every semester in Fall (September to November), Spring (January to March), and Summer (May to July). Also, we hold short-term courses for elementary school students to university students at TUJ campus. These are held on weekends, national holidays, or school holidays (spring and summer breaks).

*Please be aware that a course cannot be offered in the event that there are an insufficient number of applicants.

Courses for Educational Organizations

AEP provides custom English courses for the students of schools, prefectures, boards of education, and other educational organizations. We offer an international learning environment for our students and can provide clients with course proposals and even the implementation of curricula to fit their specific needs and goals. We also have partner universities who issue credits to students that complete our existing semester-long or short-term courses.

AEP provides training programs aimed at Japanese teachers providing English education to students as an opportunity to learn English teaching methods. We offer both year-long and short-term training programs.

The schedule is designed for high school graduates and above who can take classes during the day, and students can even take just one class (12 hours per week in Spring semester, 6 hours per week in Summer & Fall semester).	who have test scores higher than TOEFL ITP® test 400, TOEFL iBT® test 32, IELTS 3.5, Eiken Grade Pre-2, or the equivalent English proficiency. High School	AEP High School Details	This course is designed for high school students who wish to improve their academic skills. High School graduates & above	English for Academic Purposes Details	This course is designed for those who aim to study abroad in undergraduate or graduate programs to begin to acquire the necessary academic skills. University & above	Grad Prep Course Details	This course is designed for those who have already been accepted into or who will soon apply to graduate courses at TUJ or in English-speaking countries. High School & above	TOEFL ITP® Test Prep Course Details	This is a preparatory course for the paper-based TOEFL ITP® Test designed for students aiming to apply to Temple University, Japan Campus’s (TUJ’s) Undergraduate, Law School, and Graduate College of Education.	Aiming for a score of 500+: those who have never taken TOEFL ITP® Test, or have a TOEFL ITP® Test score of less than 500, TOEFL iBT® Test 45, IELTS 4.0, or Eiken Grade 2. Aiming for a score of 550+: those who have a minimum TOEFL ITP® Test score of 500, TOEFL iBT® Test 61, IELTS 5.0, or Eiken Grade Pre-1. High School graduates & above	Personal Statement Workshop DetailsJapanese	This workshop is for students who are applying for TUJ’s Undergraduate Program (including Bridge Program), TUJ’s Graduate Programs (Beasley School of Law, Master in Management Program, Graduate College of Education, Master of Science in Communication Management), or Universities and Graduate schools overseas. High School & University (Junior High School 3rd year & above in Spring)	English Skill-up Course Details	This course is open to current high school and university students. Junior High School 3rd year students can also take the course in Spring. The program aims to improve reading, vocabulary, listening and discussion skills and is taught differently from the usual English classes in Japan.
