Newly Accepted

What happens after my acceptance?

You will receive email notification of your acceptance. This will be followed by a New Student Information package via mail, including information on scholarships, program schedule, housing, and student visa application process.
Once you are admitted to Temple University as a MiM student, there are a few important things you'll need to do.

1. Choose Temple!

Contact the MiM Program Office to confirm your enrollment. Instructions can be found in your welcome letter.

2. Enrollment Deposit

To confirm your intentions, please make a non-refundable ¥20,000 Enrollment Deposit. This deposit will be credited towards your tuition.  A link to pay this enrollment deposit will be sent to the email provided on your admissions application.

*GI Bill Benefits Recipients: If you are covered 100% by the GI Bill, the enrollment deposit will be exempted.

3.Official Transcript / Test Scores

You will receive an email from Fox School of Business admissions office if you need to provide official transcripts and/or text scores. Please follow the instructions in the email.

4. Activate your TUportal account

TUportal offers students a single sign-on gateway to all Temple's online services—including Temple email (TUmail). You will receive instructions on how to activate TUportal by email once you have paid the Enrollment Deposit. If you don’t receive this notification, please contact with your name and Student ID #.

5. Pack your bags!

Watch for information from the MiM Program Office on housing, pre-arrive events and course registration. On campus orientation will begin the first week of August.

For U.S. Citizens Only

U.S. Federal Aid and Loans

U.S. citizens (and permanent residents of the U.S.) can apply for U.S. federal financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) .

Follow the instructions on the TUJ website to Apply for U.S. Financial Aid

Please note, if you intend to use U.S. federal aid and loans for your visa application and school payments, TUJ encourages you to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and private loan applications as early as possible. Please review the TUJ section on the Temple Main Campus Student Financial Services  which explains how to apply for FAFSA. Financial aid estimates are typically provided to students about a month before their visa application deadline.

GI Bill

Most students at TUJ who are eligible for veterans’ benefits make use of the Post 9/11 GI Bill. You will have to upload your GI Bill Certificate of Eligibility (GI Bill COE) to the VA app in TUportal. Please declare your intention to use your benefits in TUportal as early as possible.
