HOW TO APPLY

The online application for the Master in Management program starting Fall 2026 is now open. Start your application here. We strongly recommend applicants use an up-to-date Chrome browser on a PC or laptop with a reliable internet connection for the best experience.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Create an account and verify your email address.
  2. Start your application, be sure to select Fox School of Business and Management as your school and Management, MiM (Tokyo, Japan) as your program in the online application portal.
  3. Upload a statement of goals, a current resume and copies of your academic transcripts and enter recommender details within the application form. All application documents must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation. Additional documentation may be requested, please see below for details.
  4. Once the Fox School admissions office confirms the completion of your application, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable application fee of ¥12,000. Please wait for payment instructions, which will be sent by email. Do not make a payment within the application portal.
  5. After the application fee has been received, you will be invited to an admissions interview (in-person or online.) This is the final step in the application process.

Resume

A current professional resume or curriculum vitae is required.

Transcripts

Submit transcripts from every credit-bearing post-secondary academic institution attended. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted during the application review process; sealed and certified official transcripts or mark sheets in English will be required upon admission and enrollment. Electronic transcripts submitted directly from the institution to Fox School admissions office are considered sealed and certified. If you are a Temple University graduate, please request a transcript from Temple University Office of the University Registrar.

Letter of Recommendation

Contact information for reference may be submitted through the online application portal. Reference may then complete our electronic form or upload their own letter of recommendation.

Essay

Submit one essay that addresses your professional plans and goals. Your essay should also address the following questions.

  • What past experiences prepared or motivated you to pursue a Master in Management degree?
  • How would you expect to change over the courses of the program?
  • What personal and professional values and skills do you hope to acquire beyond the academic content?
  • How will obtaining the Master in Management degree help you achieve your career goals?
Standardized Test Scores (if applicable)

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) general test scores are required if candidates with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0. Official scores must be reported from a GMAT or GRE test taken within the last five years.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

Standardized test of English score is required for non-native English speakers, unless your degree is from an English language university located in a native English language country. You may choose any of the following tests

APPLICATION DEADLINE

  • April 15, 2026 – Program application deadline for those seeking a student visa through TUJ
  • April 28, 2026 – Visa application deadline. Applicants who do not have permission to reside in Japan (via citizenship or prior long-term visa) may apply for a student visa through TUJ.
  • June 17, 2026 – Final program application deadline
